Francesco De Rosa, third generation, born in the same year carbon entered the
company.
IDOL 2025: 20 years of Idol, 25 years of carbon, 25 years ago, De Rosa began working with carbon as one would with a precious metal: with respect, with care, and with hands trained to feel the soul of the material. Now, in 2025, that story continues with a name that means much more than just a model to us: IDOL.
The new IDOL has changed.
It hasn’t lost a single gram of its identity, but it has lost almost 300 grams in weight.
The down tube is bolder, wider, more assertive.
The rear stays are sharper, more aerodynamic.
The signature “arc slope” top tube now flows in bare carbon, carved in a harmonic
wave of power and lightness, creating a racing-driven, striking visual impact.
The design is clean, minimal, and sharp.
Colors and shades alternate like full and empty spaces, like breath and heartbeat.
It’s the same Idol as always.
Just sharper. More modern. More De Rosa.
Because every curve was redesigned with one goal: to strike the perfect balance
between comfort and performance.
